Richard Quinlan, the medal pair is his sole entitlment. He was transferred to the Labour Corps.

Sadly no service papers have survived. Looking at birth records and census records, I think he was born in Holborn, London in 1885. But sadly can’t be certain.

The 8th battalion was the post office rifles.
